Frank Udovicic
Manager Research
Frank Udovicic's interests centre around the phylogenetic systematics of Australian plants, in particular members of the Myrtle family (Myrtaceae), such as eucalypts (EucalyptusÌý²¹²Ô»åCorymbia), bottlebrushes (Callistemon), paperbarks (Melaleuca) and related genera. He is also continuing research on Rhamnaceae, a cosmopolitan family that includes genera such as Spyridium, Cryptandra and PomaderrisÌýin Australia. Practical applications and limitations of DNA barcoding and molecular identification are another area of current interest.
