Opening Hours

Important update: Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne will be closing at the earlier time of 3pm, Wed - Sun, from 19 June to 10 August 2025 + every day during school holidays 5 - 20 July to make way for Lightscape.

Daily: 7:30am - 5:30pm

Visitor Centre: 9:30am - 5pm

Children's Garden: 10am - 5:30pm, Wed-Sun only. Open everyday during school holidays.

Melbourne Gardens is open every day of the year.

The Tropical Glasshouse has permanently closed to visitors.
